These two were B-R-A-V-E! There were bees ALL around this tree..and they climbed IN!!   While shooting, they kept running into me. I’m pretty sure I was shaking, so I’m really glad these images came out so clear- ha!

Before he came home she thought his bouncy seat was a raised bed. And it also vibrated- she thought she was queen of the house. Our first night home Sadie laid under our bed and whined the entire night.  It was miserable.  An adjustment for all of us.  Months went by and she didn’t pay much attention to him (partly because anytime she would get near I would get nervous that she would accidentally step on him and tell her to move away from him) but everything changed when Eli learned how to crawl.  Eli is determined to make Sadie his life long friend- he crawls after her any chance he gets, and giggles when she licks him.  Sadie is also warming up to her little brother, and she’s very patient as he’s learning to touch (aka rip her hair out) her.

I have wanted to get a picture of my babies together for quite some time- but one unsuccessful attempt after another, I couldn’t do it..that is, until today.   I cannot wait to print & frame this one!

I am SO in love with this session!  J came to my house and got all glammed up by the fabulous Emily Hudspeth.  Though this session was done mainly as a gift for her husband, J said she has never felt more beautiful- so I believe it may be a nice gift for herself too :)  Boudoir/Glamour sessions are climbing up the ladder to be my most favorite.

Brett and I share a love for photography, blogging, and blue-eyed baby boys!  Her sweet Max just turned 1 ..and sadly Eli isn’t TOO far behind.  This family is a natural in front of the camera, and I’m sure that’s because Brett documents them SO well.  She’s got such a creative eye- I love watching her work!  It’s always an honor when a fellow photographer asks you to document their family.

This session was held in “my spot”  It is one of my favorite places to shoot, and as of now I have been the only photographer there.. It’s not much, just a little field on a back road, but I adore it.
